I still haven't seen Hugh, but after attending the Glens Falls Community Theatre meeting about "The Music Man," I decided that it was finally time to be on stage in the chorus in one of their productions and this show sounded like fun. Afterall, I love marching bands.
And, it's only a 6-week commitment.
How bad can it be?
Tonight was the first rehearsal for chorus.
Thankfully, I already knew a lot of people.
Jane and Rene volunteered to be my mentors.
They told me I needed to bring them homemade baked goods.
Kudos to those people who didn't know anyone and were brave enough to join.
I haven't really sung in a choir since high school.
Tonight, I started out singing with the altos, but the notes were way too high.
I moved over with the tenors only to discover their notes were sometimes higher than the altos.
Then my mentors told me they just sing wherever their voices can reach.
