The Women of Lockerbie
Back by popular demand, The Glens Falls Community Theatre will present two more performances of a dramatic reading of “The Women of Lockerbie” by Deborah Brevoort.
Thursday, Oct. 11 at 1 p.m. at the Glens Falls Senior Center, 380 Glen St., Glens Falls
Monday, Oct. 15 at 7 p.m. at Crandall Public Library, 251 Glen St., Glens Falls
The reading, directed by Janet Williams Davies, is part of GFCT’s commitment to bring new works to the arts community through it Experimental Theatre Company (etc).
Loosely inspired by a true story, this award-winning play describes how the women of Lockerbie, Scotland, strove in a very unique way to wash away the terrible wounds inflicted by the terrorist bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 in 1988.
